Join us on Feb 20, when we open a presentation of works by Aviaaja Ezekiassen (1989) A 2025 graduate from Aarhus School of Architecture. Aviaaja´s work revolves around encounters between design and crafts, design culture and tradition and originality and modernity. Her work is not limited to one or few materials or crafts, but is occupied by investigating how embroidery can be poetically incorporated in lighting installations or how wooden residues can be sewn together with thread and beads.
With a Greenlandic/Danish origin Aviaaja brings a different design dna, values and aesthetics that she merges consciously into a transnational design language.
