Kueng Caputo
For over 17 years, Swiss designers Sarah Kueng and Lovis Caputo have been working together as the duo Kueng Caputo, developing shared ideas and visions and realizing works in their studio for design and architecture contexts. Since 2016, Kueng and Caputo have also collaborated with Etage Projects in Copenhagen, which presented their new Brick Collection at the CHART Art Fair in 2022.
Their work has been presented by the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich and exhibited internationally. With their ideas, works, products, and educational formats, Kueng Caputo have built an international reputation and are accustomed to producing for a highly discerning audience. They draw on a local as well as global network to realize innovative and extraordinary projects. Their regular work in diverse contexts around the world has sharpened their sense for flexible, tailored solutions and further strengthened their capacity to improvise.
Kueng Caputo have held visiting professorships and led workshops at numerous universities, including Kyoto University of the Arts, the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, EPFL Lausanne, and ABK Stuttgart. They also maintain long-term collaborations and dialogues with curators, artists, architects, and designers such as Rodman Primack, Adam Szymczyk, Teruhiro Yanagihara, Shirana Shabazi, Cindy Sherman, and many others.
