Initially made for the Atlas bookstore, a nomadic archive of publishings on architecture from North Africa and the Middle East, the stool has a small shelf for books, as it is intended for reading. The overall form is cut by a CNC milling machine, the most common way of fabrication in Bahrain. In contrast, the joinery is performed by hand by local artisans
