Fredrik Paulsen
Fredrik Paulsen (b. 1980) holds an MFA from Royal College of Art in London and a BFA from Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm. In the spectrum of Paulsen’s work are notions such as anti-consumerism, psychedelic escapism and counterculture, and his work celebrates atmosphere and artificiality through material, color and form. With a playful approach to the carefree and mundane, he experiments with creative processes and challenges the sense of preciousness inherent to the field of design. Fredrik Paulsen is interested in creating a sense of community, using design as a vehicle.
